I received a call from the receptionist at my job. She said that I have a pretty package. When I walked to the lobby, I found a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

When I got back to my desk there was a green box and inside the box was the IDA certificate for my diamond and a hand written note that said meet me outside.

When I got to the main entrance of the building, I saw a black limosine waiting for me. The driver had the door open for me but I barely said hello to him before I jumped in the car to find my Mr. Wonderful.

Before we could leave the driveway of the building, Marlon went down on his knee and proposed. I said, "Of course now come here and give me a kiss." The limo took us to Jerkyll's House in Chargin Falls for dinner.

After dinner we went to Marlon's house, I could see that his lights were on and his front door was open. At that point, I could see in the driveway and to my surprise were all of our family and friends. Everyone met us in the driveway with hugs, kisses and words of congratulations!

Ryan and I are both teachers at Washington High School. I started there three years ago dead set on not dating ANYONE I worked with!

And I wasn't dating anymore football coaches! (I had just ended a long term relationship with one!) So lucky me, I get hired in and the only males in my department are all football coaches! Ryan and I got along right away, but it was more of a friendship. Then he started calling more and more. Before I know it, I'm throwing out all my pre-determined ideas and I am not only dating someone I work with, but I'm with yet another coach!

Fast forward to two years later- we were at the Osterman's Jewelers with my sister to get her ring cleaned. I (of course) b-line to the engagement rings. Before I know it, I'm getting kicked out of the store and two employees are demanding Ryan stay! Poor guy was in there for like an hour! He played it off like he didn't buy anything, then two weeks later, my parents were in town from Florida and he asked me dad permission to marry me, a few weeks after that, we were hanging out at his house and he handed me a wrapped box. I didn't want to get my hopes up, until he got down on one knee and I opened the box the most beautiful ring I have ever seen! Not a gushy, romantic engagment, but I loved it.

After dating for 5 years- a majority of it long distance he finally popped the question in New York City. He plays baseball for the Toronto Blue Jays and I flew in for their last series at historical Yankee stadium. Since he is gone for about 7 months out of the year we hardly have time for date nights and wanted to do something special while in NYC. After their day game we hade reservations at a cute little Italian place for dinner. After dinner he suggested a carriage ride in central park since neither of us had ever done that before. It was so nice to be together and be able to relax and talk. After the ride was finished I was ready to go meet up with some of our friends- well he had something else in mind. He got down on his knee in the carriage and pulled out a very sparkly ring and proceded to ask me to marry him! I was totally shocked but elated at the same time! I couldnt stop smiling and tourist who watched the whole thing asked what my answer was!!

He then proceded to tell me that all of his teammates, their wives and his coaches all knew what was about to happen! We walked back to the hotel where he had one of his teammates set up champagne to celebrate! After that we met up with my college roommate and her fiance- to celebrate! And to think I was just going to New York for the chance to see Yankee Stadium- boy was I wrong!

Michael's family decided to take a family vacation right around the time of my birthday which was a wonderful present. I knew since we were going on vacation, my birthday present from Michael wouldn't be super extravagant ... But at my 21st birthday I was a little disappointed when all I got was shoes (I love shoes ... But really?!) I knew it wasn't going to happen then but I had high hopes ... I let it go and got over it until we got to Disney and saw the bride and groom Minnie and Mickey Mouse ears. I said I wish we were engaged so we could get those! And then I got yelled at ... Nicely!

Our day continued at the Magic Kingdom and it was fun but a little tense between us but things were fine. The family got back to the hotel and we got ready for dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table in the castle. We entered and had pictures with Cinderella and then continued up the stairs to the dining room. We ordered our food and sat down in air conditioning for the first time all day. Dinner came out right away and we enjoyed the food and the entertainment. After dinner everyone began to complain about wanting dessert. I ignored their whining and continued to enjoy the atmosphere.

Shortly after ... our waiter approached the table with a covered platter on his hand. He told me he wanted to show me what was on the evening's dessert menu (which was strange because I had already ordered my desset!) As he lowered the plate and removed the lid, I could see a crystal slipper sitting in a bed of fresh red rose petals, engraved with "will you marry me?" On the inside of the slipper sat a diamond engagement ring. At that point Michael got down of one knee asked me to marry him. I couldn't believe it was really happening! It couldn't have been any more perfect! In August 2010 ... I get to marry my very own Prince Charming!

Needless to say ... I went and bought is our mouse ears immediately after!

My fiance and I met each other at work. We are both are teachers at a local school district, and commited the "work place sin" of dating a co-worker! What was worse was that we worked in the same department at the school. I had it set in my mind that I was NOT going to date ANYONE I worked with. I would make small chat with Ryan (my fiance) and smile at him in the hallway. Then he asked me on a date, I had serious reservations but something inside me told me to say yes!

We dated for about two years with all the highs and lows that normal relationships have. Then my sister put her gorgeous yellow gold engagment ring in silver cleaner, so I told her I would go with her to the jewlers. Ryan came along and told me to look at some rings, before I knew it the manager and store salesman at Osterman's were telling me to get out and not come back for awhile! A few weeks later we were hanging out at his house and he asked me to sit down, he turned on one of our favorite songs and he gave me a gift wrapped box with the ring inside, got down on one knee and asked me if I would marry him.

We aren't high school sweethearts, but we fell in love at high school!

We got ingaged at springfield lake. We was sitting out side and he gave me some bread to feed the ducks and when I pulled it apart it had a ring in it. He then said with out you there is no me and asked me to be his wife.

My fiance and I have been together for twelve years now. We have two children and have never been married. We got engaged when we were twenty and then found out we were pregnant so we put it off. Now eight years later he got me a new ring on the day I graduated nursing school and actually gave it to me in the car on the way to graduation. Not very romantic but kinda funny!

My fiance and I actually met online, on plenty of fish. We went out on are fisrt date and we did bowling and then went to eat. We ended up staying out until 6:00 am. We just sat and was talking. He had been up for over 24 hours. We agreed to go out again. So we met the next night and went to the movies and hung out again all night long. From that point we started dating and it has been 2 years on April 6 that we meet. He proposed to me on New years eve at my sisters house. We were at a party and he waited until after the ball dropped and then asked if he could aske me a question. He got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him, and the rest is history. I was a single mother, I have a son that is 4 and absoultey loves him. They are inseperatable. I'm glad I found him.

Phillip and I have been together over a year now and we've been through so much. He's currently living in a differenst state than I am and so our relationship is under a lot of strain. He proposed to me one weekend while I was visiting him and we've only gotten closer since. He'll be moving back with me soon and we are both really excited to start our new life together!!!

My fiance and I had met 2 yrs ago at a coffee shop playing a game of Scrabble, and our first date landed us in the metroparks down the street from where we now live. So Valentine's Day 2009, he took me into the park where we frst hit it off, I only suspected he was trying extra hard to be romantic, he gave me some candy and other standard V-Day gifts. Then he gave me another card and said he'd seen this make your own Scrabble card and had to get it, but as I was opening it he came out of the car (it was snowing so we'd stayed in) and knelt down next to me, I was already crying...inside the card, spelled out with Scrabble tiles were the words "Will You Marry Me"! He put a ring box in my lap and after about 5 solid minutes of those tears I couldn't control, he leaned over and said, "Hun? Is that a yes?!" "Of course!" I said, laughing that I hadn't answered. It was perfect! Now Scrabble has to be somewhere in our wedding!

My fiance came home after bowling on his league, asked me for the biggest bag I could find...I was a bit dumbfounded to say the least. A bit later he handed me the bag with some papers in it and as I stand there reading them he gets down on one knee....I start to get all hot and flushy when as I realize I'm reading the "authenticity papers" to the ring that he's about to put on my hand. He asked me to marry him and I said YES! I called my mom and then my best friend, although it was almost midnight I had to share my wonderful news....even though they already knew. It was the most fabulous day (night) of my life. To top it off, my fiance told me he asked my dad's permission first, how romantic and wonderfully old fashioned.

Cody and I traveled to eastern Pennsylvania one weekend in August for an outdoor Christian music festival. The festival was about 6 and a half hours away. My favorite band ever, Emery, was the main show Saturday night. Cody had been mysteriously disappearing all day Saturday and he finally revealed that he had gotten us backstage to meet Emery!! So after meeting the band (AMAZING!), the director of the festival asked Cody and I to the stage. In front of 3,000 people, Cody got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I was so shocked that I couldn't answer right away, but I was finally able to sputter out, "Yeah!" It turned out the Cody had been mysteriously leaving several times that day to talk to his friend, Mike, who had been secretly videotaping us the second day. I had no idea Mike was even there, so when I saw him just offstage holding a video camera and tossing a small box to Cody, I knew something was up. Now, I have a ring on my left ring finger and we are off and running with wedding planning.

I met my husband to be in Jr high school. We started dating in the 8th grade. We wanted to get married a few times but something unexpected always came up to where we didnt have the money.

In the 12th grade we were surprised with a baby on the way, 1yr later we were surprised with another little bundle of joy on the way. It took all we had to take care of our little boys and now my boys are 10 and 8 and we just had our little girl she is 3 months old.In febuary we passed our 13 year mark. His grandma just passed away and just recently found out his grandpa has cancer and both my grandmas arn't doing to well. We have decided that after 3 kids and 13 years we need to just try not to let unexpected stuff get in our way and finaly get married before someone else that is so important to us wont be able to come and will be watching from heaven above.

We have been engaged for 9years now and we are so excited to finaly start what we have been wanting for 13 years. Our wedding date is August 8th 2009 and I know i have the best man for me.

It was Easter morning of last year and I woke up to an elaborate easter egg hunt all over the house. I searched the whole house and had this huge basket of candy! I asked him if I had found all of them and he told me there was one more in the basement. We went down and there was this big egg with confetti in it and much to my surprise there was a ring box. I sat down and opened it to find it empty; just when I look up to see what was going on he bent down on one knee and pulled the ring out of his pocket. I still can't believe how creative he was. I absolutely love our engagement story and I can't wait to be his wife!

It was Christmas day and Fritz and I were exchanging presents. One of my presents was a cute Cleveland Cavs shirt. I ran to the bathroom to see how it looked and when I came back he told me he had one more suprise. He pulled out the ring and on one knee asked me to marry him! I said yes and swooped in for a hug...Unfortunately I kicked him in the process! Immediately after we went to visit family for Christmas. My Mom was introducing him to my extended family as my boyfriend. I got my Mom's attention and said, "He's not my boyfriend anymore" and help up my hand. Everyone was so excited and he made it the most perfect Christmas. I am one lucky girl!

It was a Saturday in July (July 26, 2008 to be exact) and my boyfriend asked me if he could take me on a picnic. I said of course, since they are favorite things to do on a nice summer day. I met him at his house and off we went. We ended up at a park. We walked down a path and sat a picnic table right on the lake. He packed us a lunch from a Deli where I formally worked at. So we ate lunch by the late and takled. I looked at Josh and told him that this was so wonderful and everything perfect. Then he said he had one more thing, he told me to close my eyes and wait. So I closed my eyes and waited... Hoping that maybe he had dessert, wow was I wrong. He said turn around and open your eyes. So I did and there he was down on one knee with a ring. I started crying when he asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes!!! The best day ever!!!

It was just another Sunday morning before Memorial day and just another day of golf for the two of us.  I had racked my brain of over a million ways to make my proposal the most special that I could.  I had already pulled the trick of the century by purchasing the ring right in front of her being none the wiser.  We had planned a trip to Las Vegas in the next to months and she was thinking that I would do it then.  Sorry drifted just a bit.  Back to story, I had chosen Airport greens off of White road and was a nervous wreck.

With the ring hidden in one of my pockets, I was ready to play the round of my life( so I thought)

We loaded up the cart and headed for the first tee.  The whooshing sound of my club and the ping of the ball hitting the flight was amazing and we were on our way.  Both had an amazing start.  We pared the first two holes, and everything was going great.  by the sixth hole I was sitting under par and she was right there with me.  Then that wheels fell off.  I knew that we were coming close to the end of our round and I was starting to feel the pressure.  Shanking balls left and right, couldn't putt to save my life and then her looks wondering what I was doing.

Finally we arrive at the ninth tee.  I hit 4 balls left and she is on the ground laughing at me.  She steps up to her tee box and crushes her drive.  She is rushing me now, because we have to meet her mom for dinner soon.  We both chip up on the green and she is ready to put.

This is my chance I am going to putt right after she does pick up her ball and go for it.

She drains her putt from about 10 feet and I go for mine.  Miss by a mile.  Wait she is walking to pick hers up.  AHHHH what do I do now.  Quick grab the ring.  I fumble around in my pocket.  I don't feel it.  Don't tell me that I dropped it, no wait there it is.  Did she see it.  "Look over there," I say quickly to overt her attention from what I am doing.  Pull the ring out of its case and get on one knee.  With three clubs in her hands she turns around to face me on bended knee and I say "will you golf with me the rest of my life." What in the world was that.  She looks puzzled as she is waiting for the real question.  Finally I get out those magic word, " I love you very much and would want nothing more that to spend the rest of our lives together.  Will you marry me?"  With tears of joy she excitedly says yes as we embrace on the ninth green of the course.

I couldn't have asked for more from her reaction.  Its just too bad I couldn't finish my golf game better that day.

My fiance proposed over the intercom at Giant food. He called me up to the front over the loud speaker and when I got up there, there was a crowd of people and he was done on one knee and he proposed in front of the whole grocery store over the loud speaker. He did it there because that's where we first met.

Rochelle White 4/18/09
One day out shopping with my mother, aunt, boyfriend, and our kids wanted to catch the after New Year's sale. My son and boyfriend said, "We going to another store until you lady's come out. You know you will be a while." So I kissed him and my son goodbye, and we arranged to meet at BW3s for lunch.

He arrived late to the restaurant. He sat down with us and was quiet for some reason.  He asked me for a kiss. So I leaned forward, kissed him, smiled, and whispered to him, "I love you." He said he loved me too. I smiled again.

He asked, "Do you think we will get married one day?"

I said, "Yeah, one day, I hope we can make it that far.  I love you and after my last marriage I said I wouldn't do it again and you made me change my mind!"  With mouthful of BW3's delicious hot wings, I saw him easing to the floor and asked him, "What are you doing?"  He got down on one knee in front of everyone in the restaurant, my family included, and asked me to marry him! I was trying not to cry and embarras myself in front of everyone.  I let out a big, "Wow!" that caused everyone to look our way. I was smiling with tears rolling down my cheeks. He then pointed out that I never did answer his question and that he would love to get up off the floor! How romantic!  I hugged and kissed him.

The manager and our waitress witnessed the event and celebrated with us by giving us 75% off our check!
